Production Capacity: The cows graze extensively and are on a simple system with no maize in the diet. Cake and blend are fed and they are still producing 22 litres at the moment with low scc. The herd is milk recorded and quarterly Johnes monitored with no issues with the cows for sale. The cell count for the herd runs below 100 for most of the year.

Age & Lactation: The cattle are all home bred and ai sired. The lactation breakdowns are: 8 – 1st lactation, 12 – 2nd lactation, 7 – 3rd lactation, 12 – 4th lactation, 5 – 5th lactation and 8 older cows that are still sound.

Health Status: Closed herd, fully vaccinated, health monitored with Arla.
