Stock Description: Power, strength and uniformity best describe these heifers by eye. Body condition is excellent. Coats are clean and with a shine. They can't be faulted in the flesh. They are excellent, and their type represents the best of the Irish grazing Holstein Friesian. All in-calf to Angus and all calving in February bar 6 into March. Nearly all AI sired and with an EBI average of €240.
Production Capacity: Source herd realising circa 512 kgMS/cow from a 305-day average, but note the exceptional fat and protein percentages of 4.57% and 3.72% for a black & white herd with little to no Jersey influence. Examination of the PTA’s for the heifers predict they will “beat their mothers” to realise 4.61% fat and 3.84% protein.
Unique Selling Point:
- Seriously strong heifers – first to see will buy.
- High source herd solids and predicted solids of the heifers themselves.
- Early calving.
