Production Capacity: Herd performance is very commendable 680kg milk solids sold achieved from 7800 litres 4.7% fat 3.7% pro. The herd is autumn block calved in a tight 9 week block making full use of grazed grass as much as possible. These heifers would be capable of higher yields on an intensive system.

Age & Lactation: The heifers are calving in @ 24-25 months of age all being Sep 2024 born. They are well grown and in great body condition as you can see in the video.

Health Status: The herd is located in a 6 month tb testing area with no issues for the last 3 years. The herd is Johnes monitored with no heifers out of known Johnes positive cows. The herd is not vaccinated for anything but routinely tested. It was BVD tag and tested but these ceased as no positives were ever found.
