Stock Description: Here we have the opportunity to select 30 cows from a group of 35 May calving cows due from 14 May – 3 June in calf to Hereford and Angus stock bulls. The cows are from a large spring calving herd that is reducing its spring block length, the cows are still milking approx 15 litres day. The herd is a typical NZ spring calving herd with the cows being a mixture of Friesian’s and cross bred type cows with just 1 Jersey in the group. The mature liveweight would be 525 kg. The group is for sale as whole and would be ideal for someone looking for some high solids milk over the winter ahead of calving next year.
