We are looking for a Herdsperson to join our dairy farm business in Co.Wexford. We are close to Kilmuckridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for dairy farming. The farm has a herd of 500 cows on an all-year-round calving system. Cows are producing 10000plus litres per annum. A strong focus is placed on animal health and getting the most out of the genetics of the animals.
Good facilities on the farm include 8 Fullwood Milking Robots, Robotic Triolet Diet Feeder, Automatic calf feeders and excellent animal housing facilities rearing facilities.
The farm machinery present on the farm is all modern and kept to a high standard.
Remuneration will depend on the level of experience of the applicant. Accommodation is available if required.
