Surveying & 3D Modelling

3D Laser scanning is a rapid and reliable method for surveying often inaccessible, complex or congested areas. It captures accurate measurements and complete details using lines of laser light.

Equipment Used

We use the Leica Scanstation P40. This is one of the most advanced survey instruments available, scanning one million points per second. The data captured consists of billions of points within a 3D space called a point cloud which can be processed for numerous applications.

Data Processing

We import the information generated from the 3D laser scanner into our CAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings and models to precise dimensions.

We provide these services for multiple sectors, from the design and planning stages up to project completion and operation and maintenance.

3D Modelling

3D model-based technology enables, engineering, construction and architecture professionals with the information and tools to more efficient and effective plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.

Our 3D Modelling service enables us to create details risk maps, a visual tool identifying hazards. While this tool is based on mapping and locations, it can also be used to consider safeguards based on activities at locations. A risk map is a great visual tool to demonstrate safety procedures in the case of an accident or emergency.
