A busy dairy/tillage farm in South Wexford is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to join our team. We run a 180-cow spring-calving pedigree herd, with a strong focus on feeding and herd performance.

The Role:

• Daily management of the herd, including milking, feeding, and health monitoring
• Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery (GPS & autosteer)
• Assisting with spreading slurry (trail & shoe), fertilising (variable rate/section control), mowing, hedge-cutting, ploughing (4 furrow reversible)
• Using herd management software (computer literacy required)
• Managing grassland and feeding systems
• Assisting with calving and calf rearing (JFC automatic calf feeder on-site)
• General farm maintenance

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience in dairy farming & machinery operation
• Strong animal husbandry & herd health skills
• Good knowledge of grassland management
• Comfortable with farm technology & software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
